Metrorunner

In the shadows of Mirror City, opportunity and danger walk hand in hand. You are a runner, navigating the high-tech, neon-soaked underworld, hoping to make a name for yourself as the city’s sharpest hacker. Mirror City is ruled by corrupt mega-corporations, and your goal is to carve out a place of power for your home district, while outwitting rival runners eager to steal your spotlight. The Metro serves as your highway—its lines criss crossing through different districts, each filled with contracts to complete, secrets to steal, and danger lurking around every corner.

In MetroRunner, you'll need to stay one step ahead of your competition. The city is alive with opportunities, but also rife with risks. As you circle the districts aboard the Metro, you’ll engage in a fierce competition for resources. Each runner is fighting to fulfill lucrative contracts for the mega-corporations, but underneath that, you’re also stealing data and accumulating the influence necessary to win the loyalty of Mirror City’s power players.

Every move must be calculated. Careful worker movement across the Metro lines allows you to outmaneuver your rivals, cutting them off from key resources. One of the game’s standout mechanics is the tile-puzzle mini-game, where you manipulate the central circuitry grid, hacking into the network to breach firewalls and reroute crucial data paths. The grid is always shifting, forcing you to adapt your strategy on the fly.

Will you play it safe, or take big risks for bigger rewards? At the end of the day, only one runner can climb to the top of Mirror City’s underworld. Will it be you, or will you be just another forgotten name, lost in the neon blur?
